En medio de la caída generalizada de ingresos, consumo, producción y ventas, que afecta a todos los rubros industriales, algunos sectores como el de fabricantes de electrodomésticos enfrentan además, la apertura comercial dispuesta por el gobierno de Milei. Para conocer la realidad de este sector, en Agenda Pyme radio conversamos con Alejandro Iglesias, presidente de la Cámara de Fabricantes de Electrodomésticos.
«La baja de aranceles para importar heladeras y lavarropas (por fuera del Mercosur), que hace 6 años había subido del 20 al 35% para proteger a la industria nacional, volvió a quedar en 20%, que es el arancel externo común», comentó Iglesias.
«El traslado a precios dependerá de cada comercio», sostuvo. «Como fabricantes, nos va a complicar enfrentar la competencia con productos chinos. No va a ser algo inmediato. Con la caída de consumo que hay, no creemos que se vayan a importar masivamente electrodomésticos», señaló.
Iglesias destacó que hay empresas fabricantes de electrodomésticos en varias provincias y señaló que desde la cámara del sector están hablando con las distintas administraciones para mantener la producción y el empleo. Y destacó que los factores que más afectan contra la competitividad local son «los impuestos. Cuanto más producís más pagás. Y los costos de los fletes y los costos laborales que no son el salario en sí».
En los últimos años hubo ingreso de productos importados. Ahora va a haber más importadores porque cualquiera va a poder importar, incluídos a los fabricantes locales.

«Las ventas de electrodomésticos cayeron 40% (en lo que va del año). Esto obliga a adelantar vacaciones, suspender turnos. Debemos manejar esto con cautela porque esperamos que esta caída se revierta. En el Hot Sale vimos un mayor consumo, porque también hay financiación con baja de tasas», describió Iglesias.
«Por ahora no se escucha de empresas que se vayan a ir del país. Debemos ver cómo se reconfigura la Argentina, que hoy está cara en dólares», señaló.
