El Banco Central volvió a bajar la tasa de interés de política monetaria, reduciéndola diez puntos porcentuales, al 40% nominal anual.
De acuerdo con lo informado por la entidad a través de la Comunicación “C 97972″, la tasa efectiva anual pasó a ser ahora de 49,15%.

La medida se esperaba para el jueves, cuando se realiza la habitual reunión de directorio, pero la autoridad monetaria decidió adelantar el anuncio.
En este escenario, el Tesoro colocará deuda en pesos y se espera que haga el llamado en las próximas horas.
Los inversores observan que la decisión del BCRA busca acompañar con baja de tasas para ayudarlo.
Esta semana el Tesoro nacional deberá salir a colocar deuda en pesos y la experiencia reciente hace que los operadores del mercado esperen un recorte de tasas del Banco Central para mejorar los resultados de la licitación.
El Tesoro enfrenta vencimientos de deuda en pesos en torno a los $2,5 billones.
Según informó la agencia Noticias Argentinas, el objetivo es colocar deuda al menos por el mismo monto o, incluso, superarlo de manera tal de refinanciar ese stock.
Una de las estrategias que viene siguiendo el Gobierno, en colaboración con el BCRA, es una serie de bajas a la tasa de referencia que al reducir el rendimiento de los pases pasivos que emite la autoridad monetaria empuja a bancos y otros inversores a tomar los títulos que ofrece el Ejecutivo en busca de mejores rendimientos.
En las últimas ruedas se observaron subas de precio en las operaciones de títulos en pesos en el mercado secundario, en medio de una mayor demanda.
Las últimas cuatro bajas fueron de 10 puntos cada una.
El Gobierno recibió la tasa de referencia en el 133% y ahora está en 40% nominal anual.
Con la baja de tasas confirmada, la acelerada caída de los plazos fijos se profundizará y el rendimiento de los depósitos a plazo fijo debería caer hasta rondar el 30% nominal anual.
